KINGS of BITHYNIA, Nikomedes III Euergetes, 127-94 BC. Tetradrachm (Silver, 34mm, 16.64 g 12), Nikomedia, year 185 = 107/6. Diademed head of Nikomedes II to right. Rev. ΒΑΣΙΛΕΩΣ ΕΠΙΦΑΝΟΥΣ ΝΙΚΟΜΗΔΟΥ Zeus standing facing, his head turned to left, holding wreath in his right hand and scepter in his left; to left, eagle standing on thunderbolt above magistrate's monogram and the date ΕΠΡ. Callataÿ D 70. Toned and impressive. Minor marks and slight flan bend, otherwise, nearly extremely fine.
