SELEUKID KINGS, Antiochos VII Euergetes (Sidetes), 138-129 BC. Didrachm (Silver, 21mm, 7.03 g 12), Tyre, year 177 = 136/5. Diademed and draped bust of Antiochos VII to right. Rev. ΒΑΣΙΛΕΩΣ ΑΝΤΙΟΧΟΥ Eagle standing left on prow, with palm branch over his right shoulder; to left Α/ΠΕ over club topped by the Tyre monogram ; to right, ΑΣΥ / ΖΟΡ; between legs, Σ. SC 2110.51. Very nicely toned and with a lovely portrait. Minor scratch on the reverse, otherwise, good very fine.
