PTOLEMAIC KINGS of EGYPT, Ptolemy IV Philopator, 225-205 BC. Drachm (Bronze, 41mm, 70.60 g 12), Alexandria. Head of Zeus-Ammon to right, wearing tainia. Rev. ΒΑΣΙΛΕΩ[Σ ΠΤΟΛΕΜ] ΑΙΟΥ Eagle, with closed wings, standing left on thunderbolt; to left, cornucopiae; between legs, ΛI. Svoronos 1126. Bold and clear with a dark patina. Good very fine.
