Septimius Severus, 193-211. Laodicea ad Mare. Tetradrachm (Silver, 26mm, 12.23 g 12), 207-208. ΑΥΤ ΚΑΙ CΕΟΥΗΡΟC CΕ Laureate and draped bust of Septimius Severus to right. Rev. ΔΗΜΑΡΧ ΕΞ ΥΠΑΤΟC Γ Eagle standing facing with spread wings, his head turned to left with a wreath in his beak; between legs, eight-rayed star. Prieur 1140. Lightly toned and with a fine portrait. About extremely fine.
