Septimius Severus, 193-211. Laodicea ad Mare. Tetradrachm (Silver, 26mm, 14.39 g 1), 207-208. ΑΥΤ ΚΑΙ CΕΟΥΗΡΟC C Laureate and cuirassed bust of Septimius Severus to right, wearing aegis. Rev. ΔΗΜΑΡΧ ΕΞ ΥΠΑΤΟC Γ Eagle standing facing with spread wings, his head turned to left with a wreath in his beak; between legs, eight-rayed star. Prieur 1141. Lightly toned and with a remarkable portrait. Extremely fine.
