LUCANIA, Thourioi. Circa 350-300 BC. Stater (Silver, 22mm, 7.97 g 10), Euphra.... Head of Athena to right, wearing crested Attic helmet adorned with Skylla to right, holding trident. Rev. ΘΟΥΡΙΩΝ / ΕΥΦΑ Bull with lowered head butting to right, on a plain and dotted ground line; in exergue, fish to right. HN III 1828. A lovely toned example, struck on a broad flan. About extremely fine.
