Tacitus, 275-276. Antoninianus (Billon, 22mm, 3.95 g 6), Ticinum, first emission, 275. IMP C M CL TACITVS AVG Radiate, draped and cuirassed bust to right. Rev. SALVS AVG / T Salus seated to left, feeding snake rising from an altar. BN 1654. A particularly sharp and attractive piece, with remains of the original silvering. Extremely fine.
