Solidus (Gold, 19mm, 4.33 g 6), Constantinople, 674-681. d N CON-TNV SP Diademed, helmeted and cuirassed bust of Constantine IV 3/4 facing, his head turned slightly to right; bearded and holding a spear with his right hand and with a shield over his left shoulder. Rev. VICTOA AVÇ' / CONOB Cross potent on three steps between standing figures of Heraclius on left and Tiberius on right; both crowned, wearing a chlamys and holding a globus cruciger in their right hands. DOC 8c. MIB 8a. SB 1154. With an exceptionally sharp portrait. Some scuffs, light scratches and minor doubling, otherwise, extremely fine.
