4.18 g. Very rare. Tiny die flaw on rev. Attractive patina and bold striking. Extremely fine.
Silver coins stood in a fixed relation to gold coins. 15 light miliarenses were valued at 1 solidus. These silver pieces are so rare that they played no importance in the flow of currency, but were "festival coins" that were distributed as donatives.
