IRAN: Reza Shah, 1925-1941, AR ½ rial (2.50g), undated, KM--, pattern for type KM-1128 (struck SH1310-1315), unlisted by KM and Clarke, brilliant Proof, RRR. Probably struck at a European mint, perhaps identifiable by the symbol below the obverse field. A similar piece, dated SH1310, was sold in Stephen Album Auction 25, Lot 1733, for $600. This piece appears to be the prototype for that dated version.
