Weinman, silver medal for the exhibitors (although struck in bronze), America and Louisiana standing facing with .VNIVERSAL.EXPOSITION SAINT.LOVIS.VNITED.STATES.OF.AMERICA. around and .M.C.M.IV. in exergue with large cross pattee and ornaments filling out the square // eagle standing with wings outstretched on plaquette inscribed .SILVER.MEDAL. / .LOVISIANA.PVRCHASE. / .EXPOSITION. with dolphins below and same cross pattee/ornament design on obverse, plain edge.
