KUSHAN: Vasu Deva I, ca. 191-230+, AV dinar (8.05g), Mitch-3389/94, king standing, later type with second trident to left // Siva & bull, style assigned by Mitchiner to the Peshawar region, EF, ex Ajit Singh Collection. Vasu Deva I was the last great Kushan emperor, and the end of his rule coincides with the invasion of the Sassanians as far as northwestern India, and the establishment of the Indo-Sassanians or Kushanshahs from around 240 CE.
