THESSALY, Pharsalos. Early 4th century BC. Æ Trichalkon (22mm, 7.55 g, 3h). Helmeted head of Athena Parthenos facing slightly left, with shield over shoulder / [Φ]-ΑΡΣ-[A], armored Thessalion warrior on horse rearing right, brandishing flail at [enemy warrior fleeing to right]; soldier behind to left. Cf. BCD Thessaly I 1298; BCD Thessaly II 674.4; HGC 4, 650. VF, dark green patina, with some spots of red.
