ATTICA, Athens. Circa 165-42 BC. AR Tetradrachm (28.5mm, 16.32 g, 12h). New Style coinage. Phanokles, Apollonios, and Philinos, magistrates. Struck 111/10 BC. Helmeted head of Athena right / Owl standing right, head facing, on amphora; I on amphora; in right field, Artemis Phosphoros standing facing, holding torch with both hands; ΣΩ below; all within wreath. Thompson 705c (same dies); HGC 4, 1602. Good VF, toned, area of flat stike.
