LAKONIA, Lakedaimon (Sparta). Circa 48-35 BC. Æ Hexachalkon (23.5mm, 8.03 g, 12h). Bearded head of Lykourgos right / Club with handle ending in kerykeion; monogram-I flanking; all within wreath. Grunauer Group XVII, Series 2–4 var. (monogram); cf. BCD Peloponnesos 905–8; HGC 5, 623. Fine, brown and green patina, some roughness.
