MESOPOTAMIA, Carrhae. Caracalla. AD 198-217. AR Tetradrachm (27mm, 13.18 g, 6h). Struck circa AD 215-217. Radiate head right / Eagle standing facing, head and tail right, with wings spread, holding wreath in beak; star to upper left, crescent between legs, two pellets in exergue. Cf. Prieur 830. VF, toned, some porosity. Interesting and unusual style.
