Stephen (1135-54), Penny, 'Awbridge' type, Bury St Edmunds, Acel, 1.41g, stief[ne], crowned, cuirassed and bearded bust three quarters left, right arm holding sceptre over shoulder, rev. [ace]l: on s: edmv, voided cross pommée within beaded quatrefoil, inverted fleurs in angles (N.881; BMC VII; S.1282), dark tone with typical peripheral die weakness, otherwise about very fine and very rare.
