Islands off Caria, Rhodes. Tetradrachm circa 385-360 BC, AR 14.76 g. Head of Helios facing slightly r. Rev. Rose with bud to left; in l. field, Z and Ionic capital r.; all within incuse square. Ashton 69 (this coin). Hecatomnus 179a (A117/P120 – this coin).
Very rare, the only recorded example for this issue. Surface somewhat
porous, otherwise good very fine
