Khanus is a rarely encountered mint name for the eastern Anatolian town of today's Kinis between Erzurum and Lake Van. It is only recorded in silver bearing the name of Uljaytu, and this dinar is a previously unknown gold coin from the mint. (800 - 1000 GBP)
