THRACE, Anchialus. Commodus. AD 177-192. Æ (25mm, 9.06 g, 6h). Struck circa AD 180. Bareheaded, draped, and cuirassed bust right / Dionysus standing facing, holding cantharus, being supported by satyr with thyrsus. AMNG –; RPC Online temp. no. 11114 (this coin). VF, hard dark green patina that is chipped in areas on obverse. Extremely rare, the only example thus far cited by RPC Online.
