Venetian Glass and Lapis bead Necklace. Europe and Middle East, XIV-XVII Century AD. Mixed bead necklace consisting of lapis beads of various elaborate shapes (Middle East, XIV-XVII Cent. AD), strung with wound glass "Venetian" trade beads barrel and cylinder shapes with red, white, blue stripes (Europe export, 1500-1650 AD). 19" long plus center drop. Restrung with modern clasp. Many Rare and large beads.
