1819 1C Small Date, N-9, R.1, MS64 Red and Brown PCGS. CAC. A large die chip between LI in LIBERTY attributes the N-9 die marriage. There is arguably more copper-orange color than bronze-gold and steel-blue, all of which blend seamlessly across each side with luminous luster. The peripheral elements, namely the dentils, are indistinct but the eye appeal is tremendous. Our EAC grade MS62. Population (all varieties): 13 in 64 Red and Brown, 0 finer. CAC: 12 in 64, 3 finer (4/17).
