1783 Washington & Independence Cent, Draped Bust, No Button, Silver Restrike, PR65 PCGS. Baker-3A, Vlack 17-L, W-10380, Musante GW-1067, R.5. The circa-1860 W.S. Lincoln proof restrike is identified by a Large 3 in the date. The well-executed dies predominantly struck copper specimens, although scarce silver proofs are known. A flashy and undisturbed Gem bathed in light to medium caramel-gold toning. Housed in a green label holder. Listed on page 82 of the 2018 Guide Book. Population: 5 in 65, 1 finer (4/17).
