1793 1C Wreath, Vine and Bars Edge, S-8, B-13, R.3, VF25 PCGS. Breen Die State II. A lavender-brown example with pleasing sharpness. All legends are crisp, and portions of Liberty's inner hair detail are apparent. The lightly granular surfaces are relatively unabraded, though we note a small rim knock at 5:30 on the reverse. The diagonal crack across the central reverse is an identifier for S-8, as is its large, triangular bow. Our EAC grade Fine 12.
