1909-S/S 1C S Over Horizontal S, FS-1502, MS66+ Red PCGS. CAC. Potent, frosty cartwheel luster adorns virtually unblemished surfaces on this high-end Premium Gem example. The surfaces display lovely peach-gold color that is unhindered by any degree of toning. A loupe reveals a faint fleck on the lower part of Lincoln's jacket. The S Over Horizontal S mintmark feature is weak due to the die state but still discernible. Population: 89 in 66 (11 in 66+) Red, 1 finer. CAC: 25 in 66, 0 finer (4/17).
