1857 3CS PR66 PCGS. PCGS estimates that only 75 proof 1857 silver three cent pieces known from an unrecorded original mintage. The best of these in a PCGS holder grade PR66. Here offered is a sharp top-grade PCGS coin with a full strike and no distracting contact marks. The design elements show no die lapping and the fields are reflective. On the obverse, blue and violet border toning surrounds a warm golden interior, while the reverse exhibits mainly sea-green color with a hint of rose-gold at the center.
