1877 5C PR66 Cameo PCGS. The proof-only 1877 Shield nickel comes from a small mintage of 900 pieces. Only a fraction of the survivors exhibit cameo contrast, and such coins are rare above PR66. This champagne-tinted Premium Gem Cameo displays sharp motifs and appreciable contrast. There are no distracting abrasions. Population: 42 in 66 (4 in 66+) Cameo, 9 finer (4/17).
