1900-S 50C MS65 PCGS. CAC. The 1900-S Barber half is an elusive issue in any Mint State grade, and this CAC-endorsed Gem has the added appeal of deeply prooflike fields produced by fresh dies. The presence of the mintmark and slight strike weakness on the eagle's right (facing) talons and wing junction are all that differ from a true proof half dollar of this date. The coin is brilliant and shows only a few light marks. The 1900-S Barber half is a great rarity this fine. Population: 9 in 65, 5 finer. CAC: 4 in 65, 2 finer (4/17).
