Walking Liberty Half Dollars
1942-D 50C MS68 NGC. Fewer than a dozen 1942-D Walkers grade MS68 at NGC and PCGS combined, and none are finer, not even by the margin of a Plus designation. The present coin has original satin luster and looks just as good under a 10x loupe as it does to the naked eye. Liberty's head is full and the branch hand shows partial definition. The coin is mostly silver-white but with splashes of bronze-gold along the left-hand obverse margin. Census: 6 in 68, 0 finer (4/17).
