1875-S T$1 Type One Reverse MS65 NGC. Large S. Type One Reverse. This lustrous Gem Trade dollar is extremely sharp with reddish-gold and tan toning accents at the borders and satin-smooth, semireflective silver fields. Each of the star centers shows full definition and Liberty's head is only slightly incomplete at the hair framing the forehead and over the ear. The reverse strike is top-notch. An excellent selection for a high-grade Trade dollar set or for a Gem-quality silver dollar type set. While near-Gem coins abound, relatively few examples qualify for the next level and such pieces are highly valued as such. Census: 35 in 65, 5 finer (4/17).
