1852 $20 MS61 PCGS. The 1852 Liberty double eagle claims a large mintage of more than 2 million pieces, but most of the coins circulated heavily, and Mint State specimens are very scarce in today's market. This impressive MS61 specimen exhibits well-detailed design elements and lustrous orange-gold surfaces with the absolute minimum number of minor contact marks for the grade. A few minor rim dings are evident on the reverse. Population: 46 in 61, 49 finer (4/17).
