Barber Half Dollars
1908-O 50C MS66 NGC. One of the more plentiful dates in the series in high grade, the 1908-O Barber half is popular as a type coin. This frosty example displays glimmering, unabraded surfaces with warm golden and lavender hues spread over each side. The eagle's right (facing) wing junction shows the only notable strike weakness, as usual. Finer examples of the date are rare. Census: 10 in 66, 5 finer (4/17).
