Walking Liberty Half Dollars
1916-S 50C MS64 PCGS. Speckled gunmetal-blue and crimson patina clings to the peripheral areas, leaving the interior surfaces untoned and brilliant. Frosty luster issues from each well-preserved side. The strike is good, if a touch soft over the centers. The 1916-S is the first S-mint issue in the series, struck to the lowly extent of 508,000 coins. A favorite Obverse Mintmark emission.
