1877-CC T$1 -- Cleaning -- PCGS Genuine. Unc Details. Tall CC, closely spaced beneath the S in GRAINS. This unworn 1877-CC Trade dollar is sharp throughout the stars, head, and olive branch, and it also shows good definition on the eagle's feathers and talons. Satiny luster is slightly muted from a light cleaning, although each side displays delicate champagne toning. A loupe reveals a short die crack on the obverse from the rim through star 2. This is a challenging date to acquire in Mint State.
