1878-CC T$1 XF45 NGC. Only 97,000 Trade dollars were struck at the Carson City Mint in 1878, making the issue elusive in all grades. This attractive Choice XF example shows light wear on the design elements, but the mottos and LIBERTY remain sharp. Pleasing shades of lavender-gray and champagne-gold toning blanket the lightly abraded surface. Census: 16 in 45, 48 finer (4/17).
