1964 50C Kennedy Half Dollar -- Double Struck, Rotated 180 Degrees in Collar -- MS63 NGC. Type Two Reverse. The first strike was normal, but the coin rotated 180 degrees and was struck a second time, without a newly fed planchet. From the initial impression, the tops of BERTY are apparent on the lower obverse margin, and the 4 in the date and the second T in TRUST are near the I in LIBERTY. The OD in GOD emerges from Kennedy's hair. On the reverse, portions of AMERICA and HALF DOLLAR from the first strike linger near the rims. Lustrous and brilliant with a narrow scratch noted near the R in LIBERTY.
