1893-O $5 MS62 NGC. CAC. Variety 2, with a retained cud atop the UNI in UNITED. A lustrous and evenly struck representative that has full luster and good eye appeal. The 1893-O is one of just three New Orleans Motto Liberty half eagle issues. Finer Uncirculated examples of the date are decidedly rare. Census: 66 in 62 (1 in 62+), 18 finer. CAC: 9 in 62, 3 finer (4/17).
