1906-D $5 MS65 PCGS. Popular as the first-year D-Mint half eagle and one of only two representatives of the denomination coined in Denver, the 1906-D is scarce in Gem condition and rare any finer. The frosted surfaces are smooth and sharply defined on this appealing example, which displays olive shades over rich-gold patina. Population: 67 in 65 (3 in 65+), 8 finer (4/17).
