1855-S $20 XF45 NGC. CAC. Ex: Granite Lady Hoard. The scarce Large S mintmark reverse. An overtly original example, with olive-gold patina and bits of crusty dark build-up in crevices and nooks. Attractive reddish-orange undertones glow beneath the still-lustrous patina. Marks are few while ample evidence remains of a sharp strike and the one-time reflective surfaces. CAC endorsed and rightfully so.
