1888 $20 MS62 PCGS. Although the 1888 (226,100 coins struck) can be found in lower Mint State grades, namely MS61 and MS62, collectors will have an extremely difficult time locating finer examples. This frosty, green-gold double eagle is relatively smooth for the grade and fairly well-struck. PCGS reports 33 finer submissions (5/17).
