Facing bust of the Virgin Mary, orans; stars flanking / Emperor, holding cruciform scepter, and St. Demetrius, holding globe surmounted by patriarchal cross and spear, standing facing. DOC 5; SB 2179. Near VF, dark brown to black patina, heavily clipped.
