The Brody Family Collection; Ex Leu 61 (17 May 1995), 92.
The reverse of this coin is highly unusual in that the legend begins on the left instead of at the top right. The reason for this is that the die was reengraved. What at first appears to be a die break across the reverse is in fact the palm branch from the earlier die-state, but when it was reengraved it was done at the 2 o'clock position, effectively rotating the legend to the left causing it to begin at around 10 o'clock. This seems to be a unique situation in the Bar Kokhba coinage.
