Judaea, Bar Kokhba Revolt. Silver Zuz (3.31 g), 132-135 CE. Undated, attributed to year 3 (134/5 CE). 'Simon' (Paleo-Hebrew), bunch of grapes with leaf and tendril. Reverse: 'For the freedom of Jerusalem' (Paleo-Hebrew), fluted jug with handle on left; no willow branch. Hendin 1434; Mildenberg 188 (O22/R122); TJC 286. Much scarcer variety lacking the willow branch on the reverse. Underlying luster present. Superb Extremely Fine. Estimate Value $600 - 700
