Roman Judaea, 1st-2nd Century AD., Choice Green Unguentarium. Of good size and blown in a fairly thick light green glass, this robust bottle has everted flange-like rim, a cylidrical neck and piriform body. Intact and perfect, with thick crusted iridescence ranging from shimmering blues, greens, lime, rust to coppery pink, but all within a golden matrix. Wonderfully colorful -- a veritable "moonscape" of hues. Height: 7¼". Estimate Value $500 - 800
