Roman Judea, 1st-2nd Century AD., Blue Teardrop Bottle, Perhaps an Unguentarium. Bottle of narrow, piriform shape, with cylindrical neck slightly constricted at the base and flat everted rim. Glass in a cobalt blue. Bottle intact and perfect, with faint iridescence in areas. Bottle of pleasing, balanced shape, color rare and striking. Height: 3 5/8".
