Brilliant mint state with frosted cameo design and proof-like background. Produced in the first year of the king's copper coinage, this has the appearance of a special or experimental striking, it is struck on a slightly larger than normal flan/planchet and is remarkable for the unusual number of die flaws and cracks evident on the reverse of the coin.
