SWEDEN. Karl X Gustav, 1655-60. Riksdaler No date (1654), Stockholm. 28.77 g. SM 14a; JH 219; NJL 28; Dav 4528. The king is famous for crossing the Great Belt in 1658 which brought Swedish control in the Baltic sea to its zenith. He died in 1660 after reigning only 6 years. Riksdaler were struck in 1654 and are undated. The coin on offer is problem-free with an even wear and very attractive toning. Nearly very fine, reverse better with some retained lustre. Very scarce, especially in this condition.
