Trajan Decius. AE 27; Trajan Decius; 249-251 AD, Viminacium, Year 11=249/50 AD, AE 27, 14.32g. RPC-3 (23 spec.)AMNG-123 (13 spec.), Varbanov-174. Obv: IMP CAES C MES Q DECIVS P F AVG Bust laureate, draped, cuirassed r. Rx: P M S C - OL VIM around, AN XI in exergue, Moesia standing l. between bull and lion, holding branch and transverse scepter, while a small figure of Victory standing atop the scepter crowns her with a wreath. Ex Berk 96, 18 June 1997, lot 977. Decius' scarce first obverse legend at Viminacium, not yet giving him the name Traianus.
