Herennia Etruscilla. ; Herennia Etruscilla; Etenna, Pisidia, AE 24.5, 6.50g. RPC-1013 (2 spec.), pl.69 (same dies); Aulock, Pisidien II-671. Obv: EPENNIA AIT - POVCKI??A [CE - B] Draped bust r. wearing stephane. Rx: E - TEN - NEON Apollo standing l. holding branch, resting l. elbow on tripod; globular fruit lies atop tripod, on which serpent is entwined, its head just above the fruit; small lyre before Apollo's feet. The reverse-type descriptions of Aulock and RPC leave out the lyre. Ex Antioch Associates List 70, May 2002, no. 470. Rare: only two specimens known to RPC, both from the same dies as our coin and as two other examples in the Behnen Collection.
