Trajan Decius. AE 25-26; Trajan Decius; 249-251 AD, Sagalassus, Pisidia, AE 25-26, 11.07g. RPC-946 (4 spec.), pl. 64 (same dies). Obv: AV K G ? ?P ?????C Bust laureate, cuirassed r. Rx: CAGA? - A - CCEON Helmeted warrior (Lacedaemon) standing l. holding Victory on globe and slanted spear with point upward. Ex Artemis Antiquities List V, December 1970, no. 219. Very rare: RPC online lists only four specimens, namely BM ex Aulock-5192, Vienna, Boston, and Münz Zentrum 1985, all from the same dies as ours. The same reverse die was also used for Herennia Etruscilla: see RPC-950 and the following lot in this offering.
